We’ve been here since 1986. Through the years we’ve had front row seats for the many ups, downs, twists, and turns of our regional housing market. As of late, one thing has become abundantly clear: THE TINY HOME REVOLUTION IS HERE!
Whether for housing aging family members, creating an artistic or business studio, assembling the family compound you’ve always dreamed of, or for generating rental income, adding a modular ADU to your property can prove a tremendously rewarding undertaking.
We’re your local experts—we’re here to help. Fill out the form below and one of our knowledgable team members will be in touch to talk through your ADU vision. We’ll look forward to connecting!
Our service area includes Connecticut and Rhode Island.
Book an On-Site Consultation! If you’d like to clear the first hurdle straightaway and really get the ball rolling, this is how you do it. An On-Site Consultation is a $250 service in which we will walk your lot with you and recommend how to approach your modular ADU build. We’ll evaluate your property with an eye for permanent and construction access, buildable envelope, utilities infrastructure, and an attractive layout. Then we’ll generate an estimated site-specific budget for your property.
For a typical ADU project, the site-specific work outside the ADU (such as excavation and tying into utilities) comprises a larger portion of the budget than you might expect. Accordingly, our approach focuses initially on your unique property, and then allows those learnings to inform the rest of your ADU build. After the On-Site Consultation, we’ll have a good grasp of the site-specific costs involved in your project, which will enable us to provide you with a well-informed estimate of total project cost.
In order to make the most of our visit, we’ll ask that you share a site plan with us ahead of time. If you don’t have a site plan on-hand for your property, your town’s Planning & Zoning Department should have one on file that they can provide. They’ll also be able to advise as to your local ADU zoning laws.
Experience! While adding an ADU to your property is a groundbreaking possibility, the ADU itself is really just a just scaled-down home. Since 1986, we’ve built hundreds of modular homes – large and tiny – all over Connecticut and Rhode Island. We’ve even built homes for multiple generations of the same family!
Value! Due to the advantages of modular building, our pricing beats the competition – including other modular builders and even the renovation contractors out there who are just now pivoting to enter the ADU market. Beware of ADU providers who quote you a low price to get you in the door without telling you the whole story. Does their number include site work? Utility hookups? A foundation?
Trust! Instead of smoke and mirrors, we offer peace of mind. We’ve been serving Southern New England since 1986 and we aren’t going anywhere.
Our Sales Team will work with you to determine what size and style best suits you and your project. Our factory floor plans are well-thought-out and also customizable. Or we can create a custom plan just for you.
Once you’ve decided on your ADU floorplan, our Sales Team will combine that with what we’ve learned from your On-Site Consultation [Step 1] and generate a Preliminary Estimate. The estimate will summarize the costs associated with A) The Modular Package and B) The Construction Package. Together, these two components will make up your Turnkey Project total.
